EMC Features LLC was founded as a partnership by Steven Esteb and John McDougall for the purpose of bringing Esteb's screenplay, Dirty Politics into production for fall of 2007. Esteb and McDougall have a long history of collaboration in their creative efforts and pursuit of filmmaking.
Dirty Politics presented a unique set of challenges to both Esteb and McDougall due to the speed at which the show was brought into production, amount of pages covered each day, the limited number of actual shooting days and the need for multiple camera angles of coverage in each scene and on each actor.
With all that was a struggle in making this amazing film, Esteb's vision comes to life with the help of Producer / D.P.- John McDougall, Producer - John Anderson and Executive Producer - Jay Dykes.
